Airlines are changing deadlines and you might need to book your next flight soon so you don’t lose it.
Airlines are also looking at safety policies and procedures. Delta announced recently that it will continue to limit the number of passengers on board for the foreseeable future.

American Airlines is growing and expanding 10 routes from Austin, Texas, just south of its Dallas hub.
The point-to-point routes completely bypass American s hubs and offer more convenient non-stop options. 
Major corporations have moved to Austin in recent years as part of an exodus from California.
American Airlines is preparing for the summer of vaccinated travel and has its sights set on Texas, but not its usual Dallas hub.
Austin, Texas is receiving 10 routes this spring and summer aimed at increased leisure flyers and the hopeful return of business travel. Virgin Atlantic is urging the reopening of UK and US borders to enable vital transatlantic flights to resume.
The call came exactly a year since the US closed its borders to UK and Irish citizens and the week that the airline secured £160 million in additional funding in the face of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
North Atlantic routes represented around 70% of the airline’s pre-pandemic network with 4.2 million passengers flown between the two countries in 2019.
The UK accounted for more than half of all transatlantic bookings in 2019 and the US point about a quarter with further demand made up from Europe and rest of world, supported by connectivity from South Africa, Nigeria, Tel Aviv and India. ....
