WASHINGTON, DC, March 28, 2021 (ENS) – President Joe Biden has invited 40 world leaders to participate in a virtual Leaders Summit on Climate he will host on Earth Day April 22 and on the following day April 23, fulfilling a promise he made during his first week in office. The virtual Leaders Summit will be live-streamed for public viewing.
The President invited President Xi Jinping of China and President Vladimir Putin of Russia to take part in the summit. The White House has said the Biden administration would like to cooperate with Russia and China on climate change in spite of tensions between the countries in several other areas. ....

It’s Earth Day, so Bill Nye the Science Guy came out to see his shadow and spout climate change propaganda as usual. He enlisted the talents of Justin Bieber, Maluma “Baby” and other musicians to perform “Earth Day! The Musical,” a Facebook Watch special.
The cringe-fest aired on Earth Day April 22 to a live streaming audience. The pseudo-science kid’s TV show host teamed up with earthday.org to spotlight young climate activists and their efforts in lessening the effects of climate change. One was Jerome Foster II, a climate strike activist responsible for organizing protests outside of the White House. The 18 year-old has since upgraded to an official role as youngest member of the Biden White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. Community of Currie celebrating some of Calgary's oldest trees

CALGARY
Developers were challenged with building a community on an old army base and keeping as many of the historic trees, many of which were planted when the base was built in the 1930s, as possible.
Canada Land Company did just that.
The trees are something people value and rather than removing that we wanted to incorporate it and develop and make a positive attribute in the community, said Kelvin Whalen, senior director of real estate for Canada Lands Company.
In honour of Earth Day April 22, the community will launch the ‘Currie Tree & Treasure Hunt’ to help guide the exploration of some of Calgary’s oldest and largest trees. ....
