Telugu actor Adivi Sesh says his upcoming film Major , a biopic on late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is a big screen experience and the team would release the movie only when the theatres are allowed to run on 100 per cent occupancy. Major Unnikrishnan, 31, lost his life while battling terrorists at the Taj Palace hotel in the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai in 2008. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the Telugu-Hindi film, which will also be released in Malayalam, chronicles Major Unnikrishan s life.
During the virtual teaser launch of the movie on Monday, Sesh said the team is concerned about the surge in COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra and Delhi and will wait for the situation to become better before releasing the film. ....

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Funeral will take place on Saturday 17 April 2021 at 3pm in St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The Funeral Service will begin with a National Minute’s Silence at three o’clock. The service will be preceded by a ceremonial procession inside the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The plans for the funeral are in line with The Duke of Edinburgh s own personal wishes, and the occasion will recognise and celebrate The Duke’s life and his more than 70 years of service to The Queen, the UK and the Commonwealth.
It will be a Ceremonial Royal Funeral, the same as for Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, rather than a State Funeral – something which is generally reserved for Monarchs. The plans have been approved by The Queen and reflect appropriate Government advice. ....

Major training: Joe Biden's 3-year-old German shepherd to get extra help adjusting to White House

WASHINGTON: President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden s dog Major will get professional help adjusting to the White House after a pair of biting incidents last month.
Private training for the 3-year-old German shepherd will be conducted off-site - not at the White House but in the Washington area, Michael LaRosa, a spokesperson for Jill Biden, said Monday in an emailed statement. The training is expected to last a few weeks, he said.
The Bidens also have a second German shepherd, 12-year-old Champ, at the White House. But it is the younger canine who has been the source of angst since both dogs were relocated to the White House in January from the Bidens home in Delaware. ....
