HARRIMAN, Tenn. — Prosecutors hope to bring murder charges against the person responsible for selling the drugs that killed two teenage brothers in Harriman Monday night. 
Friends identified the victims as Jared Crass, 19, and his 17-year-old brother Javen, who attended Rockwood High School. 
"They were just trying to have fun one night, someone said it was good, they tried it and they died," said Ethan Hughett, 19, who explained Jared Crass was his "best friend" ever since they met in class at Harriman High School.

ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. — A disbarred attorney from Roane County has been found guilty of several sex crimes against children by a federal jury.
According to 9th District Attorney General Russell Johnson, Kent Booher, 61, was found guilty Monday for two counts of enticement, felony sexual offense against a minor while on a sex offender registry, sex trafficking of a child, and attempted production of child pornography. 
The Tennessee Supreme Court disbarred Booher, who represented clients in Loudon and Roane County, after he pleaded guilty in a statutory rape case in Loudon County in 2014.

MORGAN COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said it is investigating after an officer-involved shooting in Morgan County.
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office and District Attorney Russell Johnson said the shooting happened in the 200 block of Coal Hill Road.
According to a release from the TBI, Morgan County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a man with a gun in this area around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

At the request of 9th District Attorney General Russell Johnson, TBI special agents are investigating the circumstances that led to an officer-involved shooting Sunday in Morgan County.
Paul Crass, 22, of Harriman, was shot in the incident and taken  to a local hospital for treatment, according to a  Tennessee Bureau of Investigation news release. His condition was not given in the release.
Preliminary information indicates at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call of reports of a man with a gun in the 200 block of Coal Hill Road in Harriman, the release stated. When deputies arrived, they reportedly made contact with Crass, who was armed, and a standoff occurred.

JAMES CITY COUNTY — Another James City County man was arrested by agents from the FBI Norfolk Field Office on April 13 in connection to the Jan. 6 Capitol Riots.
Paul Russell Johnson, 35, was charged with inflicting bodily injury on certain officers, obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, obstruction of justice and Congress, engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds and acts of physical violence in the Capitol grounds or buildings.
Johnson is currently being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail in Hanover, VA without bond.
