FOX News chief Washington correspondent Mike Emanuel joins Special Report with the details
The sage advice that If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it is older than Joe Biden, but apparently he never heard of it. Or doesn’t think much of it.
The president is on a tear, as in tearing up arrangements that were achieving their objectives. His early results are disastrous.
In an act of astonishing foolishness, Biden created a humanitarian and public safety crisis on our southern border by dismantling a successful policy structure that took years to achieve.
In the Mideast, he looks determined to undo the Arab-Israeli alliance Donald Trump forged by returning to the failed policies Biden helped to implement in the Obama-Biden administration.
The border crisis is no longer a crisis – it is an utter disaster for our nation. So, it is striking how compliant the American news media has been in abetting the malfeasance of the Biden administration.
If a Republican president was responsible for a border mess like the current one there is no question the media would be screaming “cover-up” all day every day. The “no cameras, no recording, no access and no questions” policy ought to be a clue that some very bad things are happening. But there is largely no pushback from White House reporters, save Peter Doocy of Fox News. Doocy has actually asked relevant questions of White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and President Joe Biden. One can tell when a question of his is effective when it is brushed off, diverted or ridiculed.
Bidenâs border czar stepping down as crisis deepens, criticism mounts
Published: April 9, 2021
President Biden’s border czar is stepping down less than 100 days on the job as a humanitarian crisis among surging migrants deepens and criticism of the administration’s stewardship grow.
National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan announced Friday afternoon Roberta Jackson’s planned departure at the end of April as the Coordinator for the Southwest Border at the National Security Council.
Jackson had previously served as U.S. ambassador to Mexico. And while Sullivan praised her invaluable contribution, the sudden departure was a stark signal the administration recognizes it needs to pivot after weeks of a growing migrant crisis that has sullied Biden’s efforts to project competence and confidence in the early days of his presidency.
