The White House says it places “equity at the core” of its strategy to end the pandemic by targeting historically underserved communities, yet for weeks officials have failed to reply to communications from state leaders who say the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is suppressing COVID-19 vaccines in Texas by using unreliable data for distribution.
