01 - Stringent new rules took effect in three Quebec regions at the heart of rising COVID-19 case counts in the province. Bars, cinemas and restaurant dining rooms were ordered closed for at least 28 days in Montreal, Quebec City and Chaudiere-Appalaches. Restaurants were still allowed to offer takeout.
