house. the white house is not supposed to have that. >> they're not supposed to have it. what do you worry the white house did with it? >> well, this president told the american people that there wasn't a mid -- a smidgen of corruption in this i.r.s. scandal. it's taken my organization cause of action two years to fight for transparency of these records. if it wasn't so bad, if there wasn't a smidgen of corruption, why try so hard to keep these records silent? >> absolutely. there have been investigations on capitol hill but they haven't gotten the stuff. how did you get it and congress did not? >> the supreme court said several decades ago that the power to tax is the power to destroy. and what we know now is that you have to sometimes go to the courts, get transparency through actually litigating and fighting against this administration. what we know is that that fight has been worth it because the american
