Terry Anderson, US journalist held hostage in Lebanon for nearly seven years – obituary
Terry Anderson, who has died aged 76, was the former Associated Press (AP) bureau chief in Beirut who became America’s longest-held hostage after he was abducted by Iran-backed Islamic Jihad militants in 1985 and held for nearly seven years.
