countries like france who wants the eu to have more power and defence, and try and improve its strategy and its autonomy when it comes to security and foreign policy. but on the other hand you've got countries in the east who don't want to duplicate or challenge nato. nato is everything to them. they want the us presence there. nato is very important and they want to keep the russian issue right up on the agenda. so, yes, to answer your question, there's a lot of fear here around europe. i think the talks effectively ended in a stalemate. there's been no developments. and then, on friday, the ukrainian government announced it had been subject to a major cyber attack. now, we don't know who is responsible for that but that is another concern. people in europe have been warning
