humid outside. today it's going to be steamy. we are looking at temperatures climbing more quickly than what we saw yesterday. yesterday we had a high o tod wr to 90 in the afternoon. take a look at the morning hours, though. 76 goes to that 77 degrees at 9:00 a.m. mostly cloudy and peeks of sun just like we are seeing now and i expect the winds to pick up a bit with the south-southwest push and breezy conditions for  today. today it's all about the hot and humid conditions, and just spotty showers in the afternoon. tomorrow we issued a first alei stormy monday. this will be for all of our neighborhoods especially noon until 11: talking heavy rain in the forecast. strong to severe thunderstorms possible, and that may lead to damaging winds. we have already seen this storm set up that is right now a cold front to our west, and so we are looking at that now heading our way tomorrow. we'll talk more about that, and more importantly your father's day forecast if you have plans coming up in a few minutes. bill cosby's defense team says he's resting at home after the jury was, quote, hopelessly deadlocked in the sex assault case. the jury deliberated for one hour yesterday morning, their sixth day of deliberations when they told the judge they couldn't agree on a verdict and that's when the judge declared a mistrial. the said they would retry the case. the jury was chosen from pittsburgh. he was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting andrea consta constand. cosby's team tells us it could be more difficult the second time around especially when it comes to finding an impartial jury. >> i don't think you will be able to get jurors out of allegheny county. >> it's too early to celebrate, mr. cosby, round two may be just around the corner. >> that was gloria allred, a lawyer for several women who have accused cosby of sexually assaulting him, and she hopes w l have testimony from more of the accusers, but in this case, andrea constand did not comment publicly, and she released a statement thanking the prosecutors. montgomery county district attorney tells us he plans to move forward with a retrial as soon as possible. >> she's entitled to a verdict in this case and the citizens of montgomery county where the crime occurred are entitled to a verdict. >> in the meantime, bill cosby is free on bail and he and his team left courtt least now the trial is over. >> and we were looking for the acquittal, and the rolling stone song says g what you want, you get what you need. and cosby's team tells us that the median is at home with his wife. the team expects the comedian to go on the road and start working again. >> news of the mistrial drew strong reactions from both sides outside the courthouse yesterday. >> you try this again and waste taxpayer's money you will lose worse. >> i feel for these women that come forward and i hope so they don't feel any of this is in vain. >> the critics and supporters of cosby vow to be back when the retrial happens. and tomorrow in philadelphia district attorney williams will be standing trial on corruption charges. he spent funds for personal benefits and used government vehicles forer use. williams has pleaded not guilty in this case and the jury selection on that case starts tomorrow. one man is facing several charges including attempted murder. he stabbed a man last month during a attempted robby.>> and fired, and one man died at the scene and another vic wilmingto stable condition. so far no arrests in this case. and let's head to the shore where atlantic city's mayor was not cited for a car crash that injured a child. he was driving his work car on route 30 around 3:30 yesterday when police say a 7-year-old girl ran off the sidewalk and on to the road and the girl went to the hospital with minor injuries and the investigators determined the crash was unavoidable. the philadelphia pride parade will wind its way through center city and end at pen's landing. >> reporter: quiet now but perhaps not for long. the parade begins five hours from now in center city and will start at 13th and locust streets, but the festival will begin at penn's landing. and the events started on friday, and there was a pride kickoff party, and so this will wrap up a weekend of things to do and the parade starts at 13th and locust and will move towards seventh street and up market and over to front street and then on to the plaza here at penn's landing. the festival will start at noon and go on until 6:00 p.m., and there will be live performances and food trucks, and so for condition was upgraded from critical to serious, and so he is improving. four others were injured in the shooting and the gunman was killed by police. the children of a woman who was struck and killed in philadelphia's port richmond neighborhood this month met with the police officers who helped them this weekend. the children reunited with the officers and a photo of the meeting was posted on twitter. the children's mother died protecting her kids from a driver who was allegedly under the influence and jumped on curb striking the poll, and that poll and car then struck the mother. the driver then tried to blend into the crowd. wh a look at our temperatures this morning. we are all in the 70s right now, and philp76, and the shore at 73 degrees right now and most of us are on the mostly cloudy side of things ligk at y neighborhoods, and at the airport, it's a 76 degree reading. most of us at 76 degrees, and that's a warm start to our day. we will continue with these hot conditions in the afternoon. here's the problem, there's also a lot of moisture in the air and that means it's really humid already this morning. it will continue with high humidity through the afternoon. here's a radar and satellite, it's just clouds this morning. some peeks of sun. as we get into the afternoon we may see spot showers mostly north and west of philadelphia, and an isolated thunderstorm can't be ruled out but not looking like a big threat today. gusts, 25 to 30 miles per hour, and you see the wind speeds are right around 15 miles per hour, so those are the sustained winds. they are coming out of the south-southwest which is a great pump for moisture and warm air. we are not going to see a break in the high humidity until a cold front passes and that doesn't happen until tomorrow. forecast highs, we are in the low 80s last thursday and friday, and yesterday we made it to 85 and today we go up to 90 degrees and i think it will feel warmer than that, say low to mid-90s due to the high humidity, and even tomorrow quite toasty at 88 for the forecast. the problem with tomorrow is this guy. this cold front will help break the humidity issue and help drop the temperatures but it's going to pass us tomorrow right about the time of day that's best for firing off thunderstorms. we still have a lot of ground to make, and that's why it will not make us until tomorrow afternoon, and tomorrow, the viewing area under an enhanced risk for severe storms. what does that mean? more numerous thunderstorms are possible with the severity a little higher. that means more intense storms are possible. that may lead to flash flooding concerns. under this we say there's a potential for a few tornadoes. wind damage will be a possibility, and one to two inch hail will be a possibility and that is hail that could lead to damage. this is something we will be actively watching, and we want this to weaken and that would be best but right now we are under the enhanced risk. and then at midnight, here comes the cold front and you see tomorrow morning around 10:30 a.m. seeing spot showers possible across the area and not yet seeing the line of storms move through, and that happens in the afternoon. this is around 6:00, and you see the red and oranges passing by with the cold front and that will be the issue, and i think it will persist in the overnight hours as well which may lead to some of the more dangerous storms. >> thanks, krystal. several local towns made a list of the 50 worst cities to live in. the website ranked camden the 48th worst city, meteorologist krystal klei has the forecast for us. >> it's sticky in our building, and not a good sign. ladies if you are going out with your dad later today don't worry about doing the hair. we are talking about temperatures in the 70s, and we are going to get up to the 80s and near 90. we are at 76 in philadelphia. in the suburbs, 72, and 73 in new jersey. notice the winds, they are not strong and they are coming from the south and today we will have a south-southwest flow, and so on the radar and satellite, we have clouds to kick off our morning. no to track, though. this morning we should stay on the dry side but in the afternoon we could see spotty showers or an isolated develop. not a big concern. we issued first alert's in all the neighborhoods for heavy rain potential and as a result most likely we will see damaging winds with the line of storms moving through, so what's going to happen is this is going to start to move in in the morning hours and we won't see the affects until the afternoon, and that's when we may run into problems. coming up in a few minutes, we will talk more about your father's day, and then we will get into the details on your first alert. we'll see you shortly. >> thanks for that, krystal. this morning bill cosby is at home free on $1 million bail. we were the first to bring this to you as breaking news here on nbc10. here's a recap of what happened, about an hour into the deliberations of the sixth day of deliberations, they were deadlocked. the district attorney is now vowing to retry cosby. the jury spent more than 52 hours over the past week deliberating and in the end they could not come to a unanimous decision about whether or not he sexually assaulted andrea constand in 2004. she claims cosby drugged her and he says the contact was consensual. >> the case came down to her claims and they were not strong enough, they just didn't vet out as truth. >> while the defense says they are ready for a retrial cosby's team wonders if the district attorney will follow-through, but that's what the da insists he will do. immediately after the judge declared a mistrial, he said she deserves a verdict. >> we hope doing this and moving forward in this case sends a strong message that victims of these types of crimes can come forward and can be heard. >> a new trial could start as early as october with a new jury. nbc10 defense official tells nbc news investigators have discovered the bodies of the seven missing sailors they found inside flooded compartments of the damaged destroyer, the "uss fitzgerald" that you see there. it collided with a container ship off 6 japan's coast. an investigation into the collision is under way. tomorrow night back in our area, the philadelphia teachers' union will vote on a new contract after four years without a contract it appears they have reached a tentative agreement on friday. this new deal would last through the year 2020. no other details are known at this time, and the superintendent tells if the deal is approved monday evening it could mean more stability for the district, the teachers and students. a quick travel note, if you take the bus, a new trolly and we are starting in the new jersey neighborhoods and the surrounding neighborhoods already in the mid-70s. areas like princeton, a little cooler. not by much, though. low 70s currently. 90s, center city. and in the lehigh valley, 89 for easton. 88 in allentown. we are looking at across the board mostly cloudy conditions today. a spot shower or an isolated thunderstorm is possible, and not going to see a lot of action today but we could see spot storms passing by. along the shore points, right around the low 80s. cape may, you may make it to 82 and 84 degrees. delaware, close to 90. 90 in smyrna. and here's the heads up, because of the high humidity tack on a couple degrees of what it will feel like outside, 92 to 95 at the highest across some of the warmest spots later today. not going to feel nice later this afternoon. tomorrow, a cold front hanging out and bringing storms out to the west of us and ts our direc good deal of ground to cover so it's not until tomorrow afternoon we will be undert r t severe thunderstorms. cold front will move over us and that's where we will see the yellows to the oranges, that's a higher risk than you notice how close that is to the highest
