eun, aaron, good morning. police are being tight lipped so far about this investigation. however, we are just seen two bodies taken out of this house here in northeast. we want to take you now to some video from moments ago. this is the investigation now under way. the scene here is the 1700 block of wyman place between 17th and 19th streets here northeast. we don't know much about the case so far, but we have seen police going in and out of a two-story house on this block here. and you can expect if you're in this area that traffic will be blocked as this investigation continues this morning. back out live we're watching crews load up those, the dead here. there are two people here who are involved in this case. police have not released the ages or surrounding their deaths. back in to you. the scene. we want to take you there. it happened in the 3100 block of good hope avenue in hillcrest heights. when officers arrived, they found a woman who was shot. . she said outside and she died at the scene. they still have not released her name. details very limited at this point. they say that they are offering rewards for information that will help solve this case. we're working on getting county now where a soccer game turned violent on the field and now police are searching for a stabbing suspect who is still out argument on the soccer field yesterday. none of the people involved was a student, but one father told us this worries him. >> i wouldn't expect a double stabbing to evolve from a soccer match, a neighborhood soccer match. and a great deal of concern. >> now, police think this was an isolated incident and there's no threat to the community. they believe the suspect may be driving a blue subaru sti. a prince georges county police officer is expected to be okay with after his cruiser was clipped while on the way to a call. police say there were four people in the car which hit the cruiser. it happened last night on marlboro pike in district heights. the officer had his lights and sirens on. the four passengers and the officer went to the hospital with minor injuries. montgomery county police need your help after an 82-year-old woman was hit by car. consuelo angelo was hit while crossing reedie drive. she is in the hospital with life threatening injuries. police are looking into whether she was in a crosswalk and whether the driver followed the traffic light. now to this friday's transition of power. we are just four days away from the inauguration of donald trump. at noon on friday, he'll be sworn in as the 45th president of the united states. we comments caused trump to go after lewis on twitter over the weekend. trump knocked conditions in lewis' atlanta district and accused the civil rights leader of being, quote, all talk and no action. it led to several people coming to lewis's defend with the tash hag defend lewis. celebrating now martin luther king jr. and his involvement in the civil rights tod today, there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the mlk memorial.. the memorial foundation says today is also about reflection and reconciliation. in another part of the district, there will be a peace walk and parade to owner dr. king in his legacy. it will southeast and end at the rise center. that's also on mlk avenue. nick cannon will lead this year's walk. then at noon, the 11th annual mlk parade will step off from where the parade ends at anacostia park. streets in that area will be closed until 2:00 p.m. another mlk tradition continues in northern virginia today. how one local group hopes to help those in need. sheena melissa mollet. >> good morning. brand new problem here. westbound 70 at the south mountain rest area. we just got off the phone with police. two left lane res blocked because a truck ran out of gas. not a crash. still, though, two left lanes are blocked there this morning. taking a look at 95 in maryland, from 32 down to the beltway, you're on time especially if you're speeding and going 70 miles per hour as it is saying here at the bottom of my screen. so you're just fine on 5 this morning. beltway overall, no problem. and a reminder, on metro bus, metrorail operating a holiday schedule. we're learning more about that devastating fire that killed six siblings in baltimore. two of the children that were saved from the house, a 4-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl have been upgraded from critical condition to good condition. they were saved last thursday by their 8-year-old sister. the children's mother is in the hospital in critical condition. right now, there is concern in the district over where two young girls might be. d.c. police have been searching since 10:30 saturday night to find 10-year-old timiya and miesha. call police if you know anything. family toe toes are precious, but the one you're about to see is truly priceless. it's a selfie snabd mobley was reunited with her birth parents. police say she was snatched from a jacksonville, florida, hospital about eight hours after she was born. she was found in south carolina living with her alleged abductor who she believed was her mother. that abductor has since been arrested and will be extradited back to florida to face charges. >> incredible. now to the presidential transition. we are four days away from the inaugust wagz of president-elect trump. >> getting around town can be pretty tough. adam tusk is working for you this morning at freedom plaza with the best ways for you to get where you need to go. >>. >> it's going to be tough. it's another event we deal with here in the d.c. re the most important thing you need to know, metro is open from 4:00 in the morning until midnight. there will be 17 straight hours of rush hour service and five metro stations will be closed in total. pentagon, smith season.an, federal triangle, mt. vernon square and archive. so metro will be a little restricted around the national mall. take a look at this map the secret service released about road closures. so don't think you're going to be able to drive down here at all on friday. the memorial bridge will be pedestrian only. so there will be a serious restriction downtown on friday. as far as mark and vie service, they will be on limited service for the inauguration. our airports will be crowded thursday and friday through the weekend as people start to come uber and lift, a lot of people have been asking about that. there is that surge pricing that goes into effect when there's high demand so you can expect that. lyft is telling people to get a ride outside the downtown zone. on today, a dr. martin luther king jr. holiday tradition continues in northern virginia. the group volunteer fairfax will welcome families to pitch in at its eighth annual give together event. people investigation. since we last saw you, police have removed both of those bodies, broken down the crime tape and cleared the block where this took place. now the investigation will deepen as they try to sort out why those two were found dead in this house with the upstairs light still on. this is the investigation as we found it here on the 1700 block of 19th streets northeast. just a few blocks below the ash read yumm. we know at some point overnight, those people were found dead inside this home. responding and we did see police coming and going throughout our time here before they left just a short time ago. looking live again, the upstairs lights still on. they have not yet said who the people are who are found dead or the circumstances rounding their deaths. we will be on this proposing a bill to have a chief diversity officer. >> if you mandate some of the applicants, the interviews that you conduct, the applicants have to be people of color. even the if they don't get the featured stories of people who benefit from the health coverage of the aca. former presidential candidate bernie sanders attended an b affordable care act rally in michigan. he urged republicans to reach across the aisle to come up with a better health care law to keep millions of americans insured. >> what we are saying to the republicans, if you want to improve the affordable care act, let's work together. but if you think you're simply goinging to throw millions off of health insurance, you got another guess coming. in an interview with kate snow, senator tanders criticized the president-elect for his lack of detail about how he plans to replace the affordable care act. and while democrats are going out to defend the affordable care act, the plan to replace it is almost already. >> it will include, quote, insurance for everybody. tracie potts is live on capitol hill now. did the president-elect give any details about the plan? >> no, he didn't. and while he's trying to get tom price, one of the architects of the republican replacement here as his health and human services seblth threatens to have a lot of weigh in on this. we don't have a plan, we don't have details, we don't know how he would balance insurance for everybody is everybody is not in the system without that mandate. and that has been the issue for republicans. also of ideas, but nothing here on capitol hill that we know of and no details of the plan that the president-elect wants to send to capitol hill, that he wants to get done quickly. this is something that republicans acknowledge could take weeks, months, maybe longer, but he wants to get it done pretty quickly. >> and we know donald trump was supposed to visit today. that trip was canceled. what do we know about that? >> we don't know why. we got word late yesterday evening that he was not coming here on martin luther king's holiday. there had been word that he was going to visit the new african-american museum. but it looks like that is not going to happen. the context of it is amid the dispute with civil rights icon john lewis over his comments about lewis need to go pay attention to his district and lewis calling an impact on the washington redskins trademark dispute. it is over the name of an asian american band. the band's name is a term that could be seen as offensive to asian americans. the dispute over
