Three men charged for spraying gunfire at home on Kalamazoo Trail

Deputies have arrested three men for spraying gunfire at a home on Kalamazoo Trail the evening of Thursday, Jan.  28. Although 35 shell casings were recovered from the scene and a pregnant woman was at the house at the time of the shooting, no one was injured. In interviews with detectives after their arrests, the suspects said they d initially driven to the house on Kalamazoo so that one of the suspects could fight one of the residents. But when they reached the resident by phone, and he said he wasn t home  he was in Daytona Beach plans changed. I did not come all this way for nothing. We are shooting up the house,  suspect Randy Alexandre had said, according to one of the other suspects accounts to a deputy. 

Daniel R Macleod III Is 2nd Motorcyclist Killed in 3 Days Following Crash on I-95 Near Construction

Flagler County Fire Flight, the emergency helicopter, landed on the southbound lanes of I-95 Monday afternoon to take Daniel R. Macleod to Halifax hospital in Daytona Beach. (© FlaglerLive) Daniel R. Macleod III, a 40-year-old former resident of Palm Coast, was critically injured in a motorcycle crash late Monday afternoon on I-95, just north of Palm Coast Parkway. Macleod later died at Halifax hospital. He was the second motorcyclist to die on Flagler roads in three days. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Macleod, who had been a resident of Hastings, was on his 2017 Harley-Davidson, riding north on the highway’s inside lane. Noel Cable Kreger of Jacksonville was at the wheel of a 205 Chevy Cruze, ahead of Macleod. On Monday, the Department of Transportation began setting up a construction zone just north of the parkway as it readies to repave I-95. Kreger had slowed at the point where his lane was to merge with the center lane.

Student Facing Jail Time Over Song Threatening Matanzas Faculty Member

Jan 27, 2021 3:24 PM Palm Coast, FL - A Matanzas High School student is now facing charges after they recorded and released a song that contained threats against a school administrator. An investigation carried out by the Flagler County Sheriff s Office (FCSO) determined that 18-year-old Joseph Washington made the song in retaliation to being suspended for using offensive language while on campus. In the song, Washington threatens physical harm to the faculty member and states that he was suspended from school for a dress code violation and using vulgar language towards the administrator. He can also be heard saying that he will “gladly do it again.” Deputies made contact with Washington, who admitted to writing and recording the song. Washington additionally told deputies that he knew the consequences of his actions could be that he was arrested and charged with a criminal offense.
