in just hours president trump will unveil his long awaited middle east peace plan. the embattled israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu will be at his side but the president has not said whether he has spoken to the palestinians about the proposal. let's bring in cnn's oren liebermann live in jerusalem. there is a lot of controversy about this for a whole variety of reasons, oren. >> reporter: there certainly is, john. details of the plan itself are still very scarce. the white house keeping a tight lid on the details of the plan until it is unveiled. it will be unveiled in a few hours as president donald trump stands right next to prime minister benjamin netanyahu. that will be a fantastic photo op for netanyahu especially with what he's dealing with back home. he has withdrawn his request for immunity from corruption in the prosecution charges, charges of bribery, fraud will move against him as he faces a tough reelection campaign.
