The Detroit Zoological Society is now accepting applications from Michigan residents ages 7 to 12 to be the next mayor of Amphibiville, a 2-acre wetland village that houses the award-winning National Amphibian Conservation Center at the Detroit Zoo. The building is home to large natural habitats for a wide variety of frogs, toads, salamanders, newts and caecilians, with an emphasis on education and awareness of the role they play in the environment.
