[exploexplosions] >> israel rejecting calls for a cease fire as it advances troops further into the g gaza strip. iran now threatening the united states, saying our nation would be, quote, hit hard if washington did not implement a cease fire in gaza. rachel: pro palestinians protesters rallied ahead of secretary of state antony blinken's meeting tomorrow, thousands of protest theres were raging through the streets of the nation's capital, calling out president biden for giving aid to israel. >> we demand a cease fire! >> not another dime! >> vandals hitting the white house, smearing red paint on the northwest gate. some even trying to climb over the gates. >> jonathan hunt is on the ground in jerusalem with the latest. jonathan. >> reporter: will, pete, rachel, we are hearing from the white house this morning that some 300 americans have made it out of ga. gagza, but some remain in there, part of antony blinken's latest round of diplomacy is aimed at getting the remaining americans outage freeing all of the 240 or so hostages still being held by hamas. secretary of state blinken met today in the west bank with the palestinian authority present, he said there must be an immediate cease fire and the secretary of state blinken says the u.s. doesn't agree with the calls for a cease fire but it working to get humanitarian aid into gaza. he said the pa should be involved in whatever comes next and secretary of state blinken said the u.s. is still committed to a two-state solution, ultimately here in the region, you according to matthew miller, state department spokesman, spoke, the secretary expressed the commitment of the united states to working toward the realization of the palestinian's legitimate as presentations for the establishment of a palestinian state. overnight, israeli forces continued their air strikes in gaza, hitting a neighborhood that is south of gaza city. the idf said it only targets hamas terrorist positions but the health ministry run by hamas said dozens of civilians were killed in the air strike. we cannot confirm the claims. the ground war continues, meantime, with israeli forces fighting face-to-face with hamas fighters above ground around gaza city and underground there in the long network of tunnels that we have talked so often about. so there will be no falling silent of the guns here, according to israel and according to the united states. similarsimply pauses, perhaps me pauses for more humanitarian aid to get in. the p u.n. says that is -- the unsays that is desperately needed. but israel feels it has to keep up the pressure on hamas and any cease fire would only benefit hamas, allowing the organization to reorganize and reposition. will, rachel, pete. >> thank you, jonathan. >> jonathan, thank you very much. rachel: thank you, jonathan. >> back at home, huge pro-palestinian protests in washington, d.c., protesters marched on the capitol accusing joe biden of genocide, calling him a liar, claiming israel is a racist state and there's no right to exist for israel. you can see demonstrators waving the yellow flag of hezbollah in some of this footage right there in the middle of your screen. >> here's a portion and we're going to have griff jenkins back on our program later in the hour because he was in those protests and has some staggering footage and responses, hateful responses, pro-hamas responses from the group. here's one example of what some of the protesters were chanting. >> [chanting] >> no justice! >> no peace! >> no justice! >> no peace! >> occupation no more! >> five, six, seven, eight -- rachel: this is a highly organized protest. this was -- it's actually enormous, some people think as many as 100,000 people were there. we saw footage of people coming in busses from far aaway. we talked a little yesterday about some of the funding that must have gone into this and maybe tracing some of that money back. we know some of it came from -- we got more information this morning, they said some of it did come from the tides foundation which is partially george soros funded as well. so there's a lot of hard left progressives that are funding this. >> this is organized in large part by the answer coalition, a marxist organization, anti-colonizer, anti-western marxist organization, happy to work in concert with is la -- islamists. i said this in the first hour. that yellow flag right there is a hezbollah flag, literally the flag of a terrorist organization funded by iran right here in front of our white house. and i thought back to the syrian refugees in europe and capitols in europe that are under siege from populations that don't share values of those countries and at that time saying how damaging that's going to be for generations. what do you think -- that was six and-a-half million syrians, most of which ended up in turkey, some ended up in germany and sweden. rachel: we had batya on, talking about the polling, saying that 60% of americans or more clearl clear -- clearly ble hamas for what happened. jonathan hunt said among palestinians that he's seeing on the ground a had that support for hamas is growing. >> that's over there. you would expect with what's going on in gaza, hamas rises in popularity in the west bank. rachel: you would think that maybe they would be blamed a little -- a lot for what's happened to civilians which is atrocious. >> i don't think that's the history of things. you run to the extremes. and what's happening in america in this moment, i'm looking at that, and we'll have griff on later. and people talk about this puts the democratic party in a real bind when it comes to the electorate. these people are chanting about joe biden, calling him genocide joe, right, and they're calling him a liar. democrat voters. and so rashida tlaib puts out a video and says joe biden, you're out of step with the american people. well, set you aside the american people. what about the democratic party. what's interesting to find out is who is in step with the democrat party? is it joe biden or is it what you're watching on the screen right here? is it rashida tlaib? and i would love -- because joe biden is going to have to sort this out and then let me add one more thing to this. people say how much could it hurt him electorally. i was on with harris faulkner, is he worried about losing the muslim vote. that's not a massive percent. take. but what is is the far left vote. that's a bigger percentage. markism, that's the hardest for people to understand that cash casually watch politics. this is an organized effort, 100% organized effort. when young students who are not muslims say in the united states start chanting these things, it's because they learned them through the markist prizm of on presser and on pressed. ash ---oppressor and oppressed. that's a large constituency of the democratic party. rachel: there's a lot of tiktok activists. we talked about the influence of tiktok videos. there's like 30 to one pro palestinian versus pros israel. whose managing the algorithms? is it china? >> we a allowed the foreign adversary to control the minds of young kids through an app that they control what information comes into our kids' heads while they send totally different information to their domestic audience inside china. we allowed that to happen to ourselves. the or part i was saying with syrian refugees, we let in more people through our southern border under president biden than ever left. are they fleeing because they're refugees? what intentions do they have? how are we assimilating them? rachel: we're not. >> we have wide open borders and you get that outside the gates of the white house. >> with those posters, who by the way, that isn't just anti-israel. that's anti-american. it's the same thing -- one in the same. >> anti-western. >> anti-western, completely. rachel: that's absolutely true. the citizenship process was the first and most important step in assimilating people to our culture and our way of life and that is totally gone. >> so that's -- i think that's an open debate and open analysis on what -- understanding this within the democrat party. then there's the republican party. take a look, this is fascinating, brand-new polls out from the new york times and sienna college. and it shows swing states, all of which were won by biden in 2020. five of the six in a hypothetical matchup between biden and dru trump are not just swinging trump's way, pretty heavily, the most is nevada with 11 points, the least is pennsylvania with 4, wisconsin is still in biden's favor. look at all those, 4, 5, 6, 11 points to trump. rachel: in politics the, if the incumbent is that close, it usually goes to the other guy. in this case, trump. yeah, i mean, listen, i think this is a lot of people are so dissatisfied for all the reasons you said which are in some ways philosophical and there's kitchen table issues, it's had hard feed your family, there's a lot of things going on and they're all wrong. nobody he feels good about the way things are going in america. i don't think even democrats do. >> the premise for most republicans running against trump in the primary was you can't beat joe, we can. with polls like this, it blows the arresting innocent out of the water. you -- argument out of the water. you have the rfk factor that factors into the poll. >> that those go in joe's face. >> it could go either way. i've seen polls that show it in both directions. let's say it a wash for right now. that's a five alarm fire for democrats right now you. the only rational for joeys well, i'm the guy who will beat trump in 2024. he's an epic dumpster fire otherwise with his policies and his -- >> within the next 12 months there's an anticipated he severe reinvestigation coming to the united states of america. >> that's why they're using this against trump. that's why they have 91 indictments. >> that's why there's a legitimate discussion about whether or not joe biden will be the nominee. >> correct. >> the entire democratic party had has to look at this and go we're already under water, a. b, there's a recession coming. c, there's increasingly heightened chance of war that could engulf the united states of america. you know, all this adds up to like joe can't win and maybe we don't have the hypothetical matchup of joe against desantis or haley or somebody else. that's trump. maybe he can't win regardless of who it is. that's why gavin newsom is going to china. rachel: you could put a new guy in, let's say gavin newsom. are his ideas any different? i think they're not. they might be worse. more radical if you look at -- >> he's not stained with the last three years with the economy. he could be stained with what's going on in california. he's not 80 years old. rachel: that's true. it's going to be fascinating. we are going to have the debate coming up this week but again, the polls for donald trump are extremely strong even in the primary. >> we're getting really close to iowa, new y new hampshire anh carolina. joe biden is not participating in iowa and new hampshire on the democrat side. what does that mean? i don't know. does that create an opening for someone else? we'll be watching. crazy world. >> turning to headlines starting with a fox news alert. a family hostage situation in germany is over after 18 hours as police arrested a man who was holding his 4-year-old daughter captive. police say the child appears to be unfarmed thankfully after the standoff at hamburg's airport. officials are working to reopen the airport as quickly as they can. sag actor members are reviewing a final offer from hollywood studios. we're waiting to hear more details on what's inside the offer. but studio executives are warning that an agreement needs to be made this week, if not they say they won't be able to salvage the half season of content that's been on pause since the strike began in july. and to college football, the alabama crimson tide hosting ls tigers in a top 15 matchup last night. albaalabama wins. texas takes on kansas state, forcing overtime, before falling just short. >> tense. >> in the backfield, howard looking, howard scrambles, howard -- texas survives! >> they were ahead early. >> gus johnson is awesome. that call really -- >> i love it. texas squeaks by kansas state, 33-30 and long horn superman matthew mcconaughey had a birthday drink with the kickoff crew before the game, joined players to celebrate the big win, he joined the perfect gift for his 54th birthday. >> is he your favorite? rachel: not at all. i say like -- >> she loves him. rachel: if you put sports in front of me and matthew mcconaughey, i'll choose matthew mcconaughey over all your sports. >> i was talking with keith about the come fins and the quarterback -- dolphins and the quarterback and she was like it's so boring. >> you were talking offensive and defensive schemes. >> veterans day is just around the corner. in honor of our nation's heroes we're powering with the nation's vets. rachel: the products are available including shirts, mugs, hats and now you through november 12th, 20% of all proceeds will be donated towards u.s. veterans. >> you can use the qr code on your screen now. to head over -- or head over to honor.u.s.vets.org/foxforward. >> we appreciate the support. >> i stole one of these ties, it's in my office. rachel: it's a good looking tie. that's my favorite product they have. they're all good. >> maybe we should wear matching cammo ties. rachel: on your next date night. >> or veterans day. we're sticking with the vets. >> we'll pick the outfit for date night later. >> coming up, israel's former prime minister joins us live. >> plus, concerns on stanford's campus. this incident happened in march. >> they invite me to speak here. i was heckled non-stop. i'm just asking -- >> your racism is showing. >> did student who organized this is reportedly helping choose the new law school dean. >> that will go well. >> rewarded. >> our next guest says this decision was done in a push for diversity but maybe not diversity in thought. we'll unpack, ahead. can we get real clear about life with psoriasis? yeah, i'm ready. is your treatment leaving you with uncontrolled symptoms? like the cover-it-ups and brush-it-offs? enough with good enoughs. don't stay hiding or hurting. when your lotions and creams don't do enough to help treat the inflammation beneath the skin, causing plaques and pain, it's time to get real about psoriasis, so, your dermatologist can help you get clear. make the appointment and ask about real clear skin. >> so you invited me to speak here and i'm heckled nonstop. i'm asking for the -- >> [over lapping speakers] >> your racism is showing. >> that was back in march when conservative ju judge kyle duncn was heckled by a crowd of stanford law students and an administrator and now the student who led that effort is going to help choose the new dean of the law school. joining to just is stanford law school student, president of the university's federal society, tim rosenberg. great to see you this morning. that moment, i remember that moment, he was shouted down, he was accused of racism. what i'm to understand is that moment was led by one particular student and that particular student has been elevated to choosing the new law school dean? >> well, the president of the organization that planned that silencing of judge duncan is the only student on the committee selecting the new law school dean and that really feels like a slap in the face to all the people who rallied around our former dean and now provost after she came out as an advocate for free speech. >> not only was he -- you're telling me he is the only student involved in the new hiring process. >> the only one west want all voices to come to the table. there are no conservative voices on the panel and it's sort of shocking, no students, no faculty, no alumni who are right of center or members of our society. >> this is coming at a time when stanford is under criticism for the way it handled protests in support of hamas, against israel. what's going on with free speech, diversity of thought at stanford law? >> i think we're seeing the free speech is fundamentally at odds with the new dei religion. if you embrace the dei religion you'll have an erosion of free speech and due process. it's something we have to work on and we have more work to do. >> it's interesting, tim. you can almost see how department i is lacking not just -- dei is lacking not just diversity of thought, antagonim of free speech, working into under level basket weaving, but i went to law school and you learn about due process, you learn how to go about forming thoughts, not what thoughts you should form and that seems the exact opposite of what's happening now. >> you're precisely right. we've embraced the sort of star wars space c canteena view of diversity. they all have the same beliefs and the same thoughts and the same sort of views of the world and the same sort of view of what the university should be and that's a big problem. we're not getting the diversity we need which is diversity of thought and belief and priority and a real discussion of what the values should be of the university, of our education, and really how we use our law degrees to better the world. >> it's now a process of giving you conclusions, not analysis or process of how to you a live at conclusions. when -- arrive at a conclusions, we end up with lawyers and judges who know how to give you an instinctual judgment. it's scary for the future of the country and our justice system. tim, thank you so much. we reached out to stanford for comment. didn't hear back. israel's former prime minister naftali bennett gives us an update on the war in israel, next. but i wonder if you just take a few seconds to pray with me real quick. in the name of the father and son, holy spirit. amen. lord jesus, come to us now. help us to surrender ourselves completely to you. help us to listen to your voice. even when we're distracted or tired, we pray this in the name of the father and of the son of the holy spirit. amen. thank you so much. i just want to encourage you that if you want to join me in more prayer, check out hallow it's the number one prayer app in the world. >> smoke rising from gaza as israeli troops continue to push forward into the region. prime minister benjamin netanyahu reiterating that operations will not stop until all hostages are released by hamas. >> let's go to trey yingst live on the ground in southern israel. trey. >> reporter: yeah, hey, guys, good morning. as we speak, the israelis are operating behind us inside the gaza strip. i just want to step out of the frame and we'll show you what it looks like. some of that smoke rising up from the ground coming from israeli artillery strikes and israelis using smoke to disguise their moves inside gaza. you can hear some the outgoing artillery there. israeli forces have been working around the clock to operate against hamas. they have gaza city surrounded. we expect them to push deeper into the gaza strip. the idf spokesman said that the israelis are focusing on the ground operation if the north at the moment but he added the israelis will strike hamas leadership wherever they are. he says they are prioritizing evacuation efforts over other operations. they continue to warn them to head south. this is all taking place as the air strikes continue. factions inside gaza also firing new rockets into southern israel earlier today. and on the political front, u.s. secretary of state antony blinken meeting today with palestinian president, an indication that the americans are ferrying messages between the israelis and palestinians and other regional partners trying to figure out what comes next. back to you. >> thank you, trey. we're joined by former israel prime minister, and-a-half nat,s to reaction. what's your message from is
