Workers Revolutionary Party Structure on the Syria-Iraq border recently bombed in a US air strike IRAN has summoned Turkeyâs Ambassador, Derya Ors, over the Turkish interior ministerâs âunacceptableâ claim about the presence of the Kurdistan Workersâ Party (PKK) militant group in the Islamic Republic. The Turkish envoy was called in on Sunday and notified of the protest. The development came after earlier the same day, Turkey had summoned the Iranian Ambassador, Mohammad Farazmand, over remarks alleging Ankara had violated Iraqâs sovereignty. Farazmand was called in to Turkeyâs Foreign Ministry after Iranâs Ambassador to Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, said Tehran opposed Turkish intervention in Iraq and the Kurdistan region.
