The world is still reeling amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which has killed more than 800,000 people. As schools, restaurants, businesses, music venues, and sports arenas shut down beginning in March in an effort to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus, so did Hollywood. Filming for many of our favorite shows ceased midseason, and with theaters closed, major blockbuster movies were delayed or released straight to streaming platforms. It's been nearly six months, and millions of Americans are still in various stages of social isolation. Throughout it all, TV has served as a coping mechanism for many of us as we locked down in our homes, away from family or friends or coworkers.
