go on our own somewhere, cycle when we can. next time we buy a car, buy a maller car that's less consuming in fuel. insulate our houses better so we actually don't need so much energy. government or businesses also need to do something, but if we, people, don't start when we have no hope of ever seeing a change, we have to all take a step. and it doesn't mean sacrificing our quality of life. >> save the earth goes the tired rallying cry. truth is, the earth has survived much worse than us. the earth will be fine, but what about us? well, that seems to depend on a shift unlike any in human history. a sudden, universal awareness that all our insignificant little choices add up in a big way. and that's a big ask for those countries just now enjoying their industrial revolutions, which means rich countries like
