new podcast "campaign hq" from cadence 13. so, thank you. president obama. did i say president trump? >> you scared me there for a minute, don. >> it's been a long day. >> didn't sound right. >> david, thank you so much. multiple headlines are coming out of this white house at such a furious pace. sucked a lot of the oxygen out of the 2020 campaign coverage. what do candidates need to do to break through all this impeachment noise? >> it's going to be hard nationally. of course, if this heads to a trial in the senate, people running for president will be helping answer that question. i do think, though, in the early states, iowa, new hampshire, south carolina, impeachment is going to be important to those voters, but i still think you'll be able to get your message across there on the economy, on health care. even on impooepment, what's interesting, there was a story in wisconsin and pennsylvania, they've lost the two-most manufacturing jobs in the country and that should be death
