afternoon. sergeant barry donelan, president of the oakland police officers association says man was shot and killed around 07:45pm on the 7200 block of international boulevard. that's about 5 blocks away from the coliseum. bart station, a second deadly shooting happened about an hour later. just 2 blocks away again on international boulevard. 2 hours later, a 3rd shooting not far from the first 2 on 67th avenue. all 3 victims died before they could be taken to the hospital where at the same. >> number of homicides that we had last year. and that's because last year we had more than 200 for the year and this space. it's not good for the city. sergeant donald and says there are too many guns on the streets and too few officers cities awash in legal firearms. there are only 712 uniformed police officers of all ranks, which is considerably less than when i started 20 years ago to respond to violence. oakland recently lost its 10 police chief in as many years when she floor on armstrong was fired by mayor sheng tao. >> but sergeant donald and says that hasn't impacted the work ethic of officers continue to come to work every day diligently and going to work to try and reduce crime kron. 4 news. >> developing now, a 17 year-old from oakland is in jail tonight for the murder of a man in alameda county. the victim. 35 year-old lamar converse was killed late last month in ashland. police believe the suspect attempted to rob converse and then shot him multiple times. family has set up a gofundme to help with his burial costs. the 17 year-old is booked into the alameda county juvenile center. >> 3 people sitting in a cafe working on their laptops, found themselves the target of an armed robbery attempt this week. that happened just before 02:00pm tuesday. 2 men entered san francisco's lake cafe. just delay and tried to make off with those laptops. police say at 1.1 of the would-be robbers pulled out a gun in the end, those men were able to steal anything. but one of the victims was injured in the scuffle. people in the area say they were not expecting something like this to happen. >> it's really shocking to >> when expect that and i think crime in general has been his home on king street thursday night around 10. he's 6 feet tall, bald has tattoos on his arms and above his right ear. he was last seen wearing black sweatpants wild. 94.9 sent out a statement saying that they are deeply concerned and that staffers are working closely with san francisco police and vendor crafts wife, anyone with any information is asked to call san francisco police now to have a little shape the city by the bay. >> all right. kron 4 meteorologist rodriguez joining us now with a look at forecast. a recent. yeah. and we're tracking very dry. calm conditions out there right now in the bay area. and even for those of you in the east bay over berkeley, starting to notice an increase in that blanket of storm cloud cover relatively dry for most of the bay area. but as you can see to our east over stockton and modesto, widespread rain showers. but we're getting still a mixture of snow showers for the highest peaks in our east bay hills. so we're still seeing another round of that winter wonderland bringing some light snow showers there just to the south and east of livermore, but barely dry, calm weather pattern. but to our north, we're tracking the first of 3 storms going to make its way into the bay area as early as sunday morning. first arriving for those of you in the north bay for the rest of us. it's going to arrive during the early afternoon hours where we are going to see some pockets of some moderate rain throughout the san francisco peninsula around one 30, but around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, that storm is going to exit the south bay of san jose by around 4 o'clock in the afternoon with drier and clear conditions by sunday night. just about a quarter of an inch of rain or less with this stronger atmospheric river arriving monday tracking that storm with another storm right behind it. hour by hour, my full forecast in just a few minutes stand. well, back to you. the reason thanks a lot. this week marks the first week of the it's a. >> yeah. just today alone we saw anywhere from a foot to a foot and a half of fresh powder. slightly lesser amounts at sierra at tahoe. but the four-day total 2 to 4 feet of snow. and we're going to see more than double that amount in the coming days starting sunday morning through wednesday afternoon in this year. so let's take a look at the sierra snowpack. they said that fresh powder we're tracking about 173% of normal out there right now. and we are going to see though, smooth sailing right now. i-80 at castle peak. so drier conditions for the most part in this but we are seeing that fresh powder off to the side of the roads. but there are those pockets in lanes where you are seeing traffic flowing a little bit smoothly this evening. but by around sunday morning at 10 o'clock, all of that is going to change because we're going to be under a winter storm warning that's going to continue through monday morning at 10 o'clock in the morning and replaced by a blizzard warning because several feet of snow is expected not just for the valleys, but also for the highest peaks of the sierra. so radar for tracking some light. scattered snow showers out there right now. but future cast for going to see widespread snow showers arriving by sunday afternoon with a stronger storm were arriving by monday afternoon. this is going to be one of the strongest of the atmospheric rivers. and as you can see, those blanket of snow showers going to continue through tuesday afternoon and wednesday morning. that is when the bulk of the snow is expected to exit this year up so sunday through monday, heavy snow, 4 to 8 inches for most of the valleys elevations above 7,000 feet. you could get up to a foot and a half of fresh powder. but 46 feet with that blizzard warning is expected for elevations above 7,000 feet, south lake tahoe, upper 20's with low 30's for truckee. and then temperatures cooling down with the approaching storms monday into tuesday. mid 20's for this so if you are heading out, you are going to notice some areas where it is going to be a dangerous commute. but overall, yourselves because sunday morning through wednesday morning. that's when we're really going to get the brunt of this year's snowstorms. so much snow up there november act. well, i feel like they forgot their first bit of snow almost in october, something that's
