>> it comes from a camera positioned 0en a soldier's helmet. it's a point of view we almost never get to see. because this is a soldier in a middle of a gun fight. shooting the activity and what is going on. they're actually in an area of afghanistan called the regional command south, a stronghold of the taliban. and it's also the center for opium trade. so it's a highly dangerous place. i want to show you guys this instance right here. because you know, oftentimes they inadvertently shoot innocent people in the area. we see the soldiers hold their fire and let a man who is on a bike just bike past where they're at. before they continue shooting. >> that goes to show you what's going on in afghanistan. that a man is on his bike riding his bike through a gun fight. we typically don't see stuff like this except in the movies. >> he's whipping out his iphone to take a picture of the sunset, no kidding. >> it makes you incredibly grateful for what our men and women in uniform do every day, for us. >> yesterday, a tremendous blaze broke out about 30 miles south of dallas. in a place called waxahachie, texas. take a look at some of the images from this fire. this is at a plant, a chemical plant called magna-blend incorporated. they do custom chemical blending for everything from oil companies to industrial cleaners to construction companies. and the fire moves so quickly, that it overtook the sprinkler system and had burned out half of the back of the building of the factory before firefighters could even begin to battle the blaze. >> take a look at a different view that i found. now look at some -- you could see the burning liquid moving along. talk about how fast this fire moved. it moved so quick that firefighters couldn't get their fire truck out of the way. one of the fire trucks was trapped right near the fire. this is about a million-dollar ladder truck that the fire department lost because the burning liquid just flowed rght underneath the u and in seconds. >> they had to evacuate an eight-block radius around the fire. it came dangerously close to the railliners right by the flames. luckily none of those went up in flames. all the employees, all the visitors at the plant got out safely before the blaze. >> those rail cars were also loaded with a chemical called naptha, which is another dangerous chemical. it's remarkable that the blowing fire didn't light those cars up, either. >> and over here to the left of your screen, you see something that's pretty rare. a fire tornado. >> wow. >> you see it just spinning, churning there in the middle of your screen. >> i didn't even know that was something
