About seven people were injured in a shooting in Long Beach, California, late Saturday, police said.Officers responded at about 11:15 p.m. to the area near the intersection of South Street and Paramount Boulevard, the Long Beach Police Department said in a statement.Four of the injured were in critical condition at local hospitals, police said. WABC(NEW YORK) Columbia University is being investigated by the U.S. Department of Education following allegations of discriminatory treatment of Palestinian students and their supporters.Palestine Legal, an advocacy group centered on Palestinian Rights, filed a civil rights complaint on behalf of four students and the student group Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine with the DOE’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR).Columbia University declined to comment on the pending investigation.
