This is for the secretary and the chief, youve all talked a lot about the recruiting and retention challenges this year. Im hoping you can give us some specifics on what you plan to do in the next few months to try and meet your goal this year and do you have an assessment at this point whether meeting the recruiting goals for 2023 is within your grasp . I would say its very early to be speculating about where we will land by 2023 so i dont think we are in a good position to answer that question right now. We have started this prep course , the early results of that look promising. And depending on how that plays out in the next month or two i think we will look at expanding that to some additional training sites which would obviously help us. In terms of what we will be doing the next few months, we have started the future soldier prep course. As i said at the early results look pretty promising. Done. As far as airports we have delays in newark, which will happen all the time even without a storm command we have delays in san francisco. Aside from that the airports are looking really good. Really windy conditions, thats thats still not causing villas across airports around chicago. This air map does move off towards the east tomorrow morning in the parade of the balloons might either have to be really low or not go up at all. Hopefully they will be able to go but we are going to see wind probably 30 miles or so across new york city in the morning. Temperature wise beyond the storm certainly does cool, not horribly cold anywhere theyve been getting a ton of storms, that storm was gone but we start to move our attention across parts of westward.
