57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i m anne-marie green. well, days before the south carolina republican primary, the race for the presidential nomination is becoming increasingly nasty and personal. the primary is this saturday and the latest cbs news tracker poll finds donald trump maintaining a commanding lead followed by ted cruz. campaigning in south carolina yesterday, trump blasted out at cruz. trump called cruz unstable and threatened again to sue cruz over his eligibility to serve as president if he doesn t pull his what trump calls false ads. i haven t been doing it this long. i ve been in it since june 16th. i ll tell you i have never, ever met a person that lies more than ted cruz. cruz doesn t seem particularly upset. he was just going on and on about how i m the most horrible says. cruz said trump had gone off the deep end. former former president george w. bush for the most part has stayed out of politics ....

warm. appalachian power crews were attacking the outages. we found this truck on deyerle road this afternoon. but with so many limbs down, so many power lines to repair, the utility is still assessing how long it s going to take to get everyone back on line. here along williamson road the power is still out. power has notified residents in the area that their power should be restored tonight. live in roanoke joe dashiell wdbj7 the number of people without power in henry county is going down but it may take days to complete. officials say they are now working to restore power to fifteen hundred people. the community of sandy level is one of the affected areas. winds blew over an old gas station sign at the corner of axton and morgan ford road. trees are still laying on power lines and a family was home last night when the tree fell. we ll hear from them tonight at six. power is slowly coming back for dominion virginia power customers. 368 customers are without power in a ....
