Wildschutt Captures Second ACC Honor
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State junior Adriaan Wildschutt was recognized as the ACC Performer of the Week for the second time this season, following his performance at the FSU Last Chance Meet on March 5.
Wildschutt won the men’s 8K with a time of 23:30.8, which was 16 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. His performance was also the eighth fastest in Apalachee Regional Park history.
“Adriaan had an incredible first season as a Seminole,” FSU head coach Bob Braman said. “He’s been the class of the ACC all season. This is a well-deserved honor.”

No. 18 Noles Selected to NCAA Cross Country Championships
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 18 Florida State women’s cross country team will compete at the 2020 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on March 15.
Without regional meets this year, 31 teams were chosen based on performances throughout the fall and winter by a committee.
The Seminoles were selected to their third straight NCAAs after finishing third at the ACC Championships in October after taking third at the Blazer Classic. FSU also won the FSU Invite at the Apalachee Regional Park and opened the year taking third at the Mountain Dew Invite in Gainesville, Fla.

It’s been a tough nine months for swimming coaches at local clubs as they were not able to have their swimmers compete due to the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were elated that they were able to return to competitive swimming and more elated with the performance of the swimmers at the Bahamas Aquatics Federation’s (BAF) End-of-Year Time Trials at the Betty Kelly-Kenning National Swim Complex last week Friday and Saturday.
