Let s get right to chief meteorologist Patrick Rockey with more on what we can expect. After our wintry weekend, the work week is going to look and feel a lot more springlike. Even our cool downs won t be that cool. A cold front will approach the region on tuesday. Ahead of that front southwest winds will warm us up into the upper 50s and the lower 60s. We will see increasing clouds and a slight chance for showers, mainly on the outer banks. But as the cold front crosses the region on wednesday, we do expect scattered showers. In fact, some of our northern communities, like the middle peninsula and the Northern Neck may see a little sleet or snow mixed in at the start. We will start the day with temperatures in the mid 40s, falling into the 30s by the afternoon. Many portsmouth residents dont agree with it, and they say council is suffering from a lack of transparency. Tonight will be the first regularly scheduled Council Meeting for members since councilman bill moody paid a 15 hunded dollar fine for breaking that new city rule, which prohibits members from speaking about information discussed in closed door meetings. Last week, in a Community Meeting with council members, residents spoke up about openness among elected officials. Three people are in the hospital after a mobile home fire. Crews are on the scene and so is 10 on your sides erin kelly. They are praising the work of people nearby who rushed to help. We are across the street from the harwood Mills Community where it happened. This is whats left of the home. The Fire Department says bystanders, a york county sheriffs deputy, and an offduty lieutenant from williamsburg Fire Department found one victim in her bedroom and they actually pulled off the side of the home to get to her. Fire Officials Say then they started cpr and she Department Says another woman got out on her own, went to the hospital and is expected to be okay. And the deputy who helped went to the hospital and should make a full recovery, the Sheriffs Office says. Asst.
