new details about that search warrant executed this week in connection with the 1996 murder of rap star tupac shakur. chloe is with us now. los angeles police searched a home in henderson, nevada this week. do we know what they were looking for? do we know what they found? >> reporter: we do, jake. here is what we know. this home belongs to the wife of a man by the name of duane keith davis. duane keith davis is someone who for years claimed he saw the murder of tupac shakur in 1996. we know that authorities, when they got into the home that belongs to duane's wife they took five mputs, they took tablets, an ipho, usb hard drives, photographs, a magazine, a vibe magazine cover that had tupac.
in the case. las vegas police say they executed a search warrant in nearby henderson, nevada. chloe, do we know what led investigators to this home ? >> boris, this is a major break in the ongoing investigation that has been opened for more than two decades. so, this is what we know. we know the las vegas metropolitan police have told cnn that yes, they executed a search warrant. they are not giving details as to what led to this, as to the location of the residence, but we do know that it is in henderson, nevada, and they had information that led to them going in there and taking things out of the residence. you know, look. we know this is something that has been the focus of not just fans in the family but other authorities over the past 26 years, since he was gunned down, in 1996. and remember, he was leaving a boxing match in vegas at the mgm hotel, when he was in the
intelligence really at the center of the standoff which has essentially shut down hollywood. chloe has more. >> reporter: hollywood came to a halt on thursday when union called sag-aftra representing over 160,000 actors announced that they were going to go on strike. and currently the writers union wch wga represents about 11,000 writers and they have been on strike for about two months. and thursday afternoon fran dwres drescher the president of sag of a sag of a from a had this to say. >> i can't believe we're this far away. how they plead poverty when gives hundreds of millions to their ceos. it is disgusting.

sag-aft rawalked away. chloe, what are you seeing on the other coast, and also, who are you seeing? >> first of all, jason sudeikis, he's out here on the frontlines, holding a sign here in solidarity. what i'm hearing is apprehension, anxiety. people are worried about how to pay their bills. they believe this could be something that lasts for several months. i spoke to actors today, who told me they should not be the victims of the studios deciding to move forward with streaming. even though, like the head of disney, bob iger, coming out and saying maybe they overshot how lucrative streaming is, they say it's not their fault, they need to be paid more. i spoke to the local chapter who had this to say about how streaming can affect actors'
