The recalled product, which comes in a 10-oz plastic tub Classic Hummus with UPC 300067 and a “Best Before” date of April 26, 2021, was sold in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Indiana, Mississippi, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, New Jersey, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Sabra Dipping Company just announced a voluntary recall on its classic hummus in 16 states due to possible salmonella contamination. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration said that the company is recalling more than 2,100 cases of the 10 ounces Classic Hummus that was produced last month with a best before date of April 26. The states that are affected by this recall include: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Indiana, Mississippi, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, New Jersey, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
If you have bought this hummus, the company encourages you to return the product or visit Sabra’s recall website for a reimbursement. The FDA reported that no illnesses have been reported to date. You can find more information regarding the recall by visiting the FDA’s website.
