CSPAN2 Key Capitol Hill Hearings July 8, 2014

Cybercrime is enormously profitable and its a great big deal and very big business. Companies are not doing enough to defend themselves but on the other hand a lot of threats are overhyped. There is an anonymous Security Industrial complex supplying weapons to the u. S. Military, the lobbying force for some of these merconium laws. At the same time there is real stuff that needs to be sold to real companies. An essay is not doing a lot to defend the country. Thats not really their mission. Their job is to defend military government networks. They have not been tasked with defending the broader internet. Thats probably good things that we cant judge them on that. Theres a lot going on here. How do we compare this with Climate Change . Your guess is as good as mine. Climate change is the single most catastrophic threat we are facing that is 100 years out. We as people cann ....

As an infantryman who lost so many in the iraq war and injured and struggled with the loss of suicide from chronic pain and other injuries, i just thank you all for being here. My experience with the Va Health Care system began in 2008. Sorry. Its okay, youve got plenty of time. Ive been a patient but im also an advocate for other warriors who are struggling with deploymentrelated traumas. For a period of about 12 months, i did receive excellent Mental Health care at a va ....

Email from a Fourth Amendment perspective in part that he feared if it doesnt count that should eliminate the protection of privacy. That is, to the extent we a lhaa lot of robots looking at our email to scan it for viruses or to service ads or whatever, if that counts and weve agreed to that or otherwise have allowed that, that could mean we have given up our overall interpretation of privacy in those communications. I fear that toxin was killing the Fourth Amendment to save it. I think im more concerned about the parables that come from government surveillance than private surveillance and i think our allowing that kind of behavior does not eliminate protection of privacy, and we have enough cases saying that that i feel comfortable. But its not that easy. It gets to the automation rationale which is the case where smithfield, maryland said we do not have enough cases t ....

Going to continue to have people without insurance. The Congressional Budget Office reiterated just recently that at the end of the ten years, how many people wont have insurance . 30 million. How many people didnt have insurance when we started . 40 million. To disrupt the entire health care tableau of the country and i think were going to have people lose insurance at work, who had insurance at work. That will be one of the consequences this aa thisconseqe end of this year. I am talking to many missourians. There is a place to go now. Weve struggled with this for a long time. Even though were not covered by the law, even though we dont have 50 employees, were going to no longer provide the insurance at work that many of these employers have provided for decades, others have provided all the time theyre in birks even ibusiness, even if in decades.
