As if Boris Johnson didn't have enough on his plate, he's now been given a ticking off by his former mother-in-law.
Author Gaia Servadio, mother of the Prime Minister's aristocratic first wife, former model Allegra Mostyn-Owen, has bitter memories of the couple's relationship and describes him as a poor husband.
Boris married Allegra in 1987 and split six years later, before he went on to tie the knot with his second wife, barrister Marina Wheeler.
'I have never liked Boris,' Miss Servadio declares. 'He and Allegra met at Oxford. They were the stars at university.

Gibraltar has slapped down Spain's claim to have the final say on who enters the British territory, setting the stage for more wrangling over sovereignty.
Chief minister Fabian Picardo today tersely declared that 'this is our land' after Madrid's top diplomat said her government would oversee cross-border travel.
The row comes a mere two days after an 11th-hour post-Brexit deal was struck to integrate Gibraltar into the EU's passport-free Schengen Zone to avert a hard border.
Almost 30,000 people crossed between Spain and Gibraltar every day before the pandemic, half of whom were workers.

Staff at a New York City restaurant have mocked Governor Andrew Cuomo's ban on indoor dining by eating a meal outdoors in the snow.
Employees at Trattoria L’incontro in Astoria, Queens were seen on Instagram Wednesday night sitting at a table set up on the sidewalk in the midst of Winter Storm Gail, which is expected to dump up to 12 inches of snow.
On Tuesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio also temporarily shut down outdoor dining on roadways due to the wild weather conditions, but stated that restaurants could still serve customers if they were sitting on sidewalks.
