Apr 30, 2021
Jevon Holland has been selected by the Miami Dolphins the with the  36th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
He becomes the first safety taken in this year's draft and will join a loaded secondary with players like Xavien Howard and Byron Jones. Miami also spent one of its three first round draft picks last year on cornerback Noah Igbinoghene from Auburn.
The Dolphins have drafted wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (Alabama), edge rusher Jaelen Phillips (Miami), and offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg (Notre Dame).
Holland adds to the Oregon defensive back legacy in the NFL with
Troy Hill (Rams),

The Bears’ Work Isn’t Done Yet! Here Are the Top Targets on the Board Who Can Help Justin Fields
Don’t get it twisted, my friends. Drafting Justin Fields is a big freaking deal. And even though I’m still riding the wave in the wake of the trade and selection, I know that Ryan Pace’s job isn’t done. Because while drafting Fields is a first step toward rebuilding the Bears, the team still has needs throughout the roster.

Next on Pittsburgh Steelers' to-do List? Rejuvenate the Offensive Line - Sports Illustrated Pittsburgh Steelers News, Analysis and More

Apr 30, 2021
The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Alabama running back Najee Harris in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, much to the dismay of the "running backs don't matter/running backs don't belong in the first-round" crowd. Admittedly so, yours truly is a part of said crowd, going as far as to write a piece on why Najee would be a "good but not great" pick in the first round.
Truth be told, I still feel that way, especially with some of the talent that fell/was available to the Steelers with pick number 24. However, the Steelers desperately needed to find crucial pieces to their puzzle when it came to running the football, and I feel as if some fans need to desperately hear this:

Patriots' QB plans fuel intrigue, but importance of 2021 NFL draft goes deeper

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Of all the things that have been said about the New England Patriots over the past month, perhaps nothing sums up the importance of the moment more than owner Robert Kraft's assessment.
"I don't feel like we've done the greatest job the last few years, and I really hope and believe, I've seen a different approach this year," Kraft said.
This is a critical draft for the Patriots, who enter with the No. 15 pick, their highest selection since 2008. So much of the intrigue surrounds what they might do at quarterback, and understandably so. But there's much more to it than that.

FTRS Mock Draft 2021

FTRS Mock Draft 2021
Happy draft day everyone!

Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports
Happy Draft Day!! If you’ll remember to last year, several of the writers got together for the first annual FTRS Mock Draft, and well, this year, we decided to do it again! So without further ado, let’s get onto the rule and team assignments.
Rules
If there is a trade between two teams that are being run by the same person, it must be approved by a simple majority of the whole group.
Due to not being able to get everyone together at the exact same time, we are requiring that folks wait at least five minutes before making their selection to give people ample time to discuss trades and such.

Here Are the Offensive Linemen the Cincinnati Bengals Could Select in Round two - Sports Illustrated Cincinnati Bengals News, Analysis and More

Apr 26, 2021
If the Bengals select LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase with the fifth overall pick in the Thursday's NFL Draft, then the focus will shift to the offensive line. Who can they get in round two?
Here are some of the best offensive lineman that could be available for the Bengals at pick 38:
Alex Leatherwood, T/G, Alabama
Leatherwood could possibly be the best option for Cincinnati in round two. With Riley Reiff expected to start at right tackle, Leatherwood is capable of playing guard for a year or two and moving back to tackle in the future. He’s an explosive and quick lineman with a good amount of upside. He has the potential to be the Bengals long term solution at right tackle.

2021 NFL Draft: Team Needs - AFC North

Set: Quarterback, running back, cornerback
As the title suggests, the focus of this article is on needs.  We’ll discuss some depth moves as well but the Bengals have both Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon under contract until 2025 so they’re relatively “set” with starters.  They may have released Gio Bernard but Trayveon Williams actually graded out surprisingly well in pass blocking (which was Gio’s specialty) and they have him and Samaje Perine under cheap deals until 2023 so I don’t see them using any of their more valuable picks on backup QB or running back this year.  They have bigger fish to fry at picks 5, 38, and 69 at least.
