‘Bharatiya Janata Party-led government continued its systematic discrimination and stigmatisation of religious and other minorities, particularly Muslims’
The Bombay High Court on Monday issued notice to National Investigation Agency (NIA) on a plea filed by activist Gautam Navlakha, an accused in Elgar Parishad-Bhima Koregaon case, seeking regular bail.
The special court in Mumbai ruled that keeping Navlakha under house arrest at the premises in Navi Mumbai would be inappropriate based on the NIA's evaluation report. During the day, veteran actor Suhasini Mulay appeared before special NIA judge Rajesh Katariya and stood as surety for Navlakha, which the court accepted.
