WV SB 515 requires teachers to report name/pronoun requests | Legislative Session

A bill that would require schools to tell parents if their student asks to use a name or pronouns different from school records was advanced by the members of the Senate Education Committee on Feb. 13, 2024. Senate Bill 515 passed the committee and will be reported to the full Senate with a recommendation it pass, but will first be referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
