Augsburg player Mads Pedersen has been banned for three Bundesliga matches over a red card offence, the ruling body DFB said on Tuesday. He will miss the next games against Freiburg, Darmstadt and Heidenheim before being eligible again on March 16 at Wolfsburg. Augsburg are 14th, seven points above the danger zone.
