this tower behind me is a bit surreal. i tried to do what we could to try to step up to help others. there's a lot of reflection about the loss and we definitely should reflect on the folks we lost but we also and the people that stepped up on that day including folks where i'm standing over my shoulder is battery tunnel where firefighter stephen siller left his truck and ran up into the towers as they fell. i'm always reminded by that heroism and hope that's what especially the younger folks remember about that time and provide inspiration for the future. >> i will say i think of the beautiful moments of that day more now as time has passed, as it used to be, and still is, of course, you think of the horror of that day, but you do remember these amazing stories of americans just putting themselves in harm's way.
