Tomorrow, Saturday, May 22nd, Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery is hosting a pop-up vaccination clinic, working in conjunction with Seattle Fire Department and other community partners. The brewery, located in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood will gift you a pint for your trouble. Details below.

While it seemed as if so much stood still over the last year and a bit, the restaurant scene in Seattle kept moving forward at the same rapid pace as it has in recent years.
As Washington state prepares to fully reopen and vaccinated people again feel safe heading out to restaurants, we are taking a neighborhood-by-neighborhood look at the changes you’ll find and what’s coming down the pipeline. We start with Greenwood, where a long-time favorite bar retooled to Cambodian food, an old favorite sandwich shop returned, and this fall should bring Filipino fried chicken, prix-fixe pasta, and Vietnamese coffee.

After a year of forced changes and subsequent adaptations, Earth Day 2021 can be a time to reflect on how people have impacted the environment during the COVID-19 pandemic, Asheville environmentalists say.
As the world prepares for a return to normal, they reflect on the ways people were both kind and unkind to the earth.
How we've helped the planet
1. We've gotten outside more. Participation in outdoor activities skyrocketed in a time where people were unable to gather at indoor group settings.
Ritchie Rozzelle, owner of The Flying Bike, which offers bike tours of downtown Asheville, said the business was seeing an almost 50% increase year-over-year each month after the initial shutdown from March to May of 2020.
