Demi Lovato is opening up about the grim and painful realities of suffering from addiction and mental health conditions. In a trailer for her new YouTube docu-series, released Wednesday, Lovato revealed that the overdose she experienced in 2018 caused her to have three strokes and a heart attack.
"I've had so much to say over the past two years wanting to set the record straight about what it was that happened," the actress and singer said at the beginning of the trailer.
The four-part documentary, "Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil," focuses on Lovato's personal and professional life leading up to and after the overdose she experienced in July 2018.

K-pop stars BTS are set to appear on ‘MTV Unplugged’ to perform new versions of top tracks from their latest album.
This special performance for “MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS” will air exclusively on MTV on Tuesday, February 23 at 9 PM ET. The band is expected to perform stripped-down versions of their top hits, including the number one hit single, “Dynamite.”

Development executive Jamila Jordan-Theus has been named Head of Motion Picture of actress and founder Marsai Martin’s production banner Genius Entertainment.
According to
Deadline, Jordan-Theus has had 15 years of experience both developing and producing TV, film, and other forms of media for Netflix, Disney+, CNN, TBS, OWN, FOX, and YouTube Original. She was the Producer for CNN Film and HBO Max’s documentary
Dreamland: The Rise and Fall of Black Wall Street which explores the summer of 1921 in Tulsa when white mobs attacked and destroyed the 35-block Greenwood District in reaction to an accusation of a white woman accusing a Black man of sexual harassment. In the past, she has been in charge of managing and producing the content slate while in docuseries, documentaries, and formats as the Creative Executive for the Springhill Company. Her most recent job was as the Director of Unscripted Development for Sirens Media/ITV Studios.
