going on. >> exactly. everybody in my house heard him screaming at the other end of the phone, "kathie, get your ass home." when she left my house, she turned to me and said, "gilberte, promise me if something happens to me tonight you'll check it out, you won't let him get away with it. i'm afraid of him." >> after kathie returned home to south salem, robert claimed he drove his wife to their local train station in katonah so she could stay in their manhattan apartment. but many, including gilberte and myself, believe she never made it onto that train headed to grand central station. when you said to robert durst, "where's kathie," what exactly did he say to you? i put her on the train and all that. >> i put her on the train and i thought she was staying overnight at school. i said she doesn't stay overnight at school. she lives in the city.

the u.s. with tremendous muscle. newsroom starts now. hello again and thank you so much for joining me. recovery efforts for a passenger plane that crashed in indonesia today have been suspended for the night. transportation officials say the wreckage has been found in a mountainous area in pa wa province. confirmation that the plane was found came shortly after villagers reported seeing the aircraft crash into the mountain. the search for the plane has been suspended until daybreak because of thunderstorms in the area. kathie, we're what an hour or so away from daybreak or perhaps when they'll get back out there. what are they up against? >> reporter: well, yeah, it's about that amount of time now. they're sending out six aircraft

hearing for monday as durst faces new charges based on what police found when they arrested him in the city saturday. a source says durst had some pot and a lot of cash with him. police records show he also had a fake driver's license and a .38-caliber revolver all to escape to cuba. this is according to one official. and what exactly was this man apparently running from? good question. could it have been the los angeles police department? l.a. county prosecutors have filed a murder charge against the real estate heir. when you look through some of these court document they indicate durst was quote/unquote lying in wait for his close friend susan berman who was about to talk to police about the disappearance of his ex-wife kathie kathie.
