investor john calamos here with his take on what investors should be doing right now. could apple help pull this market out of the funk. apple due out with earnings at 4:30. we ll have the crucial numbers the moment they cross with the analysis they need. apple s results will be watched closer than ever. regardless, it will have a huge impact whatever apple does because of the size of that company. it will have a big impact on markets tomorrow. let s look again at this hour of where we stand. the ten-year u.s. treasury yield is pretty flat. as a result earnings moving the indexes to some extend. we have caterpillar contributing in the range of 40 points to the dow which is up 47 at this hour. take a look at the nasdaq. this the underperformer today and it s the social media names which we have to watch. it s off about 0.4% or 16 points. and the s&p 500, as mentioned, is fighting to return to positive territory. you can look there at the chart and see this turnaround ....
