JOHOR BARU, May 28 — Seven private hospitals in Johor will begin operating as Covid-19 vaccination centres (PPV) starting June 1 as part of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
State Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said it involved four private hospital vaccination centres (PPVHS) in Johor Baru district and one PPVHS each in Kluang, Batu Pahat and Muar districts.
“These PPVHS will administer 250 to 1,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine a week,” he said in a statement here today.

MAY 12 — Last Sunday afternoon, I had my first dose of vaccine in Dewan Maharani, Muar, according to government’s plan for members of parliament to get vaccinated in the first phase of National Covid-19 Immunisation Program (PICK). I would like to thank the professionalism of the officers that were responsible for vaccination program in Dewan Maharani. The process was smooth and efficient. As of today, except with arm sore, I have had no other side effects.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 — For Malaysians who have not signed up for Covid-19 vaccination, a survey has shown half of such respondents saying they plan to eventually register within a few months to a years’ time.
However, there is also one-fifth of such Malaysian respondents planning to wait for more than a year before taking the move to register for Covid-19 vaccination, while 28 per cent or more than one-fifth do not intend to sign up to be vaccinated against the virus, the survey results show.
