Police department is still mourning the death of the two officers. Investigators say loren baker and Elizabeth Butler were gunned down tuesday afternoon at the home of Sexual Assault suspect Jeremy Goulet. A neighbor said he was stopped and questioned by the detectives as he walked by. She shared they were trying to engage a suspect in the house and he wouldnt come to the door. Reporter investigators reported that the two officers were shot as they approached the house. Today the sheriff said they were talking with him through a closed door, emphasizing the conversation made Jeremy Goulets attack with his hand gun more of a surprise.
