Popular TV actor Annup Sonii, who plays a pivotal role in the upcoming web film "Raat Baaki Hai", says being passionate about acting, the greatest high he gets is by working in good projects. In the film, he essays Kartik, who is accused of murder. The film is an adaption of Atul Satya Koushik's famous play "Ballygunge 1990". The story of the film revolves around a single night when two estranged lovers reunite after a 12-year separation under strange circumstances. One is on the run from a murder suspect and, as the plot progresses, twists await to be unfolded.

As the Indian soldiers make their way into the Galwan Valley and Rezang La to take on the Chinese, they have little to be hopeful for. Outnumbered 125 against 3,000 Chinese soldiers; they do not have enough ammunition, not to mention adequate clothing to weather the bitter cold.
While the Chinese flaunted modern machine guns, the Indians have to depend on World War II vintage 303 rifles. In case you were wondering, this is 1962: The War in the Hills, a war drama, and not the present kerfuffle in the Pangong Lake area. Showing on Disney + Hotstar, the series is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and stars Abhay Deol, Sumeet Vyas, Annup Sonii and Mahie Gill.

The disclaimer at the start informs us that the story is inspired by true events and depicts the ’62 Sino-Indian conflict, while also exploring personal battles like love, heartbreak and longing.  
Half-way through the 10-episode series, one realizes that writer Charudutt Acharya and director Mahesh Manjrekar have been more astute with exploring the personal battles rather than the actual war.
