he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in 2015. wmur s kristen carosa is live in concord with details from the hearing. kristen: this morning s hearing essentially started the process of figuring out if owen labrie had ineffective counsel during his trial and if he did, a new trial date would be set. labrie could be seen walking into court this morning accompanied by his parents and his new defense attorney robin melone of nashua. labrie was found guilty in 2015 of misdemeanor sex assault. his victim was a then-15-year-old girl. labrie was sentenced to one year in jail. he was released on bail pending his appeal. a few months later, the state filed a motion to revoke bail based on allegations that he had violated his curfew. labrie served two months in jail and is now back home with is family in vermont with a monitoring bracelet. at today s hearing, both the state and labrie s defense attorney discussed dates for a well-established process for li ....
