Pethealth To Acquire Microchip Registry Operations of the Michelson Found Animals Foundation
July 21, 2021 GMT
LOS ANGELES & OAKVILLE, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul 21, 2021--
Michelson Found Animals Foundation (“Michelson Found Animals”), a Los Angeles-based animal welfare organization, today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with Pethealth Inc. (“Pethealth”), a leading provider of pet insurance, lost pet recovery and shelter management software in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, for the acquisition of its microchip registry operations.
Philanthropist Gary K. Michelson, M.D., founded Michelson Found Animals in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, after witnessing hundreds of thousands of beloved pets become separated from their family with no way to find their way home. Microchip technology was available, but financial barriers kept it from helping families in need. It was the first free national pet microchip registry, giving pet parents from all backgrounds access to this life-saving service. Over the last 15 years, the organization has grown the registry to one of the largest in the US with more than 5 million pets.

Black-ish Fashion: Shop the Best Outfits From Season 7

Anyone who has seen ABC's
Black-ish knows and loves the way current day sociopolitical issues are expressed through a mix of family life norms and comedic style (think awkward family sitcom with a twinge of social justice). As you might expect, costume designer Michelle Cole keeps the fashion as current as the issues. You really can't go wrong with Tracee Ellis Ross playing Rainbow Johnson as one of the main leads being such a large fashion icon herself - did you see her in
Rainbow Johnson's style is elegant and sophisticated, incorporating a lot of textures, prints, and colors into her wardrobe. Throughout the current season, we have seen her in printed long-sleeved jumpsuits by the likes of Isabel Marant and Stella McCartney, as well as classic two-piece sets from brands such as Kenzo, Zara, Co, Victoria Beckham, and Rachel Comey.

PRINCETON — Concerns about COVID-19 have postponed an annual animal shelter drive until May 2021, but people who want to help homeless dogs and cats now are being offered a touch-free way to contribute.
Since 2007, the Prerogative Shelter Drive has accepted donations of pet food, toys, treats, blankets, cleaning supplies and other goods to animal shelters in West Virginia and Virginia. Ever since the drive started, donors have contributed thousands of pounds of pet food and other items to local shelters. Contributions from generous donors help animal shelters care for dogs and cats during a time of the year when donations slow down due to the holidays.
