and weldon, saskatchewan. several others have been injured, 15 of which at this point have been transported to various hospitals. there may be additional injured victims who transported themselves to various hospitals. let me be clear. we are still looking for the two suspects. we ask residents across saskatchewan and neighbouring provinces to be vigilant. at this stage in our investigation, we believe some of the victims have been targeted by the suspects, and others have been attacked randomly. the two suspects are damien sanderson and myles sanderson. damien sanderson is described as a 31—year—old male, 5'7", 155lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. myles sanderson is a 30—year—old male, 6'1", 240lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. if damien and myles

and brown eyes. if damien and myles are listening or receive this information, i would ask that they turn themselves in to police immediately. they are considered armed and dangerous. jason kerr, the editor of the prince albert daily herald in saskatchewan, spoke to me earlier. i asked him if the two men were still on the run. yes, as far as we know, they haven't been taken into custody. officials have not updated the number of victims that were killed or injured, so that's the most recent thing we have on that front. the other recent development is that james smith cree nation, the first community where the stabbing occurred, has declared a state of emergency, due to the murders and assaults that occurred this morning. so, leaders there are asking for help from the red cross and other mental health organisations to help

investigating the possibility that damian sanderson was killed by his brother, myles. now, myles, they say, is injured. that is important because he may be going somewhere to seek medical attention, so they're asking people to keep an eye out on that. he right now faces three counts already, three counts of first degree murder, but the manhunt for myles sanderson goes on. poppy. >> nick watt live for us tonight. thanks very much. >> "outfront" now, chris weker, former assistant fbi director. he oversaw the fbi's five-year manhunt for the olympic park bomber. thanks very much for being with us. so nick's reporting just laid it out. damian sanderson is found dead. he has injuries that are not believed to be self-inflicted. which raises so many questions. his brother myles still on the run. police say he could also be injured. what comes to mind? what are the biggest questions in your mind when you hear all

did they work on the ramp or fuel airplanes or work in the air traffic control tower or the tsa. we don't know. so a lot of questions still need to be answered and we're working on getting them figured out right now. >> myles, where does this investigation go now. is this something that the ntsb would be involved with or is this really hyper local now that plane is down and the pilot is in custody? >> well the ntsb has its hands full and they have a lot of cases. but they tend to pick cases that get a lot of attention and this one is getting a lot of attention. so i suspect they'll take a look at it to see if there are additional security measures to recommend to the faa for allowing access to the ramp or securing aircraft so the doors can't be opened. that sort of thing. they might want to weigh in on that. but it remains to be seen given the fact there wasn't the calamity that we saw, whether

licensed, because they now clearly would have his identification, is it a student pilot, what could this person have -- how could this person have learned how to fly this plane. >> the sad tooth is we don't know that much yet. although we're digging into it. because the stolen airplane, the registration goes back to a company in nearby tupelo. so we'll try to figure out more about the pilot. the real question here is that how they were, of course, as myles mentioned, how they were able to get on the ramp and get into the airplane and get into an airplane this size and start it. some of these have keys. some do not. you would see a key on the door. but once you get into the pock pit, there is not a key to start it. you essentially press the ignition button and add some fuel and it is off to the races. so, you could learn some of that not only from a checklist in the airplane, typically it is right there for the aid of the pilots,

>> we understand it may have landed in some sort of field near ashland which is not very far. it is like 50 myiles or so from tupelo. and myles, there is someone that could answer questions that police now have in custody. but one of the questions is how this pilot may have taken off in the first place. and again, when we call this person a pilot, we mean the person who was piloting the plane. we don't know if they are -- officially have a pilot's license. what questions do you still have from all of this? >> first of all, let's not forget, this is possibly the best possible outcome. and we'll hear this story and figure out what happened. but it appears if he was an airport employee that, answered a big question, how did he gain access to the aircraft. he would have all of the pass cards and i.d.s required to get

the vp detail thought this was about to get very ugly. >> back with me, nia, laura, myles. myles, what did you think of how pence's detail was described by that aide? how close the danger was, how real the threat was to the vp? >> well, this also was another moment, kate, that i think for many people had eerie, eerie resonance to the 9/11 attacks. when we heard those lines, that law enforcement officers were calling to say good-bye to family members, i think that made everyone think about people who were in airplanes calling their family members on 9/11. that's how serious this became. now kate, i want to look at this from a national security perspective. when i was at the department of homeland security, i used to oversee what's called the coop cog programs in the federal government. continuity of operations and continuity of government. these are the super-secret plans we put in place to make sure

"i'm going to continue this," i can't say that the election is over now because tomorrow and the next day and for the next many, many months and months and months i'm going to carry this lie forward that has already gotten into this mess, you know, for january 6th, been lying about the election for months and months and months even before the election was held. and so yeah, you can see the wheels spinning, and you can see that this is going to be his identity and the identity of the people who are still so closely attached to him emotionally, who believe his lie. something like 60% to 70% of republicans believe donald trump, believe that joe biden is an illegitimate president because of all of the lies that donald trump has told over and over again. >> stick with me, myles, laura. stay here. coming up, the security detail with former vice president mike pence on. this day, they feared for their lives. that's what a white house official testified to, and what the agents did as riotsers stormed the capitol. pany.
