หัวหน้าพรรคเสรีรวมไทย เชื่อรัฐบาลใช้ความรุนแรงสลายม็อบ คือสัญญาณใช้อำนาจควบคุมประชาชนกลบเกลื่อนความล้มเหลว เตือนข้าราชการอย่าตกเป็นเครื่องมือเพราะการเมืองกำลังจะเปลี่ยนแปลง
พล.ต.อ.เสรีพิศุทธ์ เตมียเวส หัวหน้าพรรคเสรีรวมไทย กล่าวว่า การใช้กำลังเจ้าหน้าที่เข้าสลายการชุมนุมของกลุ่มแนวร่วมราษฎรในวันที่ 18 ก.ค.ที่ผ่านมา คือ สัญญาณการใช้อำนาจในการควบคุมประชาชนเพื่อกลบเกลื่อนความล้มเหลวเรื่องการแก้โควิดและความพังพินาศทางเศรษฐกิจที่เกิดจากการล็อกดาวน์ซ้ำซากแต่ไม่จบ
หัวหน้าพรรคเสรีรวมไทย กล่าวว่า ตอนนี้กระแสความนิยมรัฐบาลตกต่ำสุดขีด อันเนื่องมาจากความผิดพลาดในการแก้ไขสถานการณ์โควิด ดังนั้นหาก พล.อ.ประยุทธ์จะดื้อดึงอยู่ในอำนาจต่อไป ทั้งที่ทำผิดซ้ำซาก ก็คงพยายามจะใช้อำนาจและความรุนแรงในการจัดการกับประชาชนที่เห็นต่าง
"พวกเด็กๆ ไปชุมนุมเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลลดงบกองทัพมาช่วยประชาชนกับให้ไปซื้อวัคซีนดีๆมาฉีดแต่รัฐบาลกลับยิงกระสุนยางและนำแก๊สน้ำตามาฉีดให้แทน คงต้องการจะบอกว่าต่อไปประชาชนที่เดือดร้อนจากการบริหารที่ผิดพลาดของรัฐบาล หากจะมาเรียกร้องอะไรก็จะโดนเหมือนกับม็อบนี้โดยอ้าง พ.ร.ก.ฉุกเฉินบังหน้า แต่จริง ๆ แล้วคงต้องการกดหัวประชาชนให้ยอมรับความผิดพลาดล้มเหลวของตัวเอง จึงเป็นเรื่องที่น่าเวทนา หาก พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จะใช้วิธีการเช่นนี้"พล.ต.อ.เสรีพิศุทธ์กล่าว
พล.ต.อ.เสรีพิศุทธ์ กล่าวอีกว่า ตอนนี้อารมณ์ชาวบ้านโกรธเกลียดรัฐบาลเป็นอย่างมากเพราะต้องสูญเสียญาติพี่น้องจากการรอเตียงจนตายหรือการยังไม่ได้ฉีดวัคซีนที่ดี ยิ่งมาเจอข่าวเรื่องการหมกเม็ดสัญญาจัดซื้อวัคซีนก็ยิ่งทำให้ประชาชนทั้งโกรธแค้นทั้งสงสัยว่ามันมีอะไรซุกซ่อนอยู่หรือไม่ ทำไมคนส่วนใหญ่จึงยังไม่ได้ฉีด ครั้นพอประชาชนไปเรียกร้องให้ซื้อวัคซีนดีๆมาฉีดก็ถูกปราบปรามด้วยความรุนแรง
"อยากเตือนไปยังข้าราชการทั้งหลายว่าอย่าไปยอมเป็นเครื่องมือรัฐบาลในการทำร้ายประชาชนหรืออย่าออกมาแก้ต่างแทนรัฐบาลที่กระทำความผิดหลายกระทงเพราะในไม่ช้าการเมืองจะเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างแน่นอน"หัวหน้าพรรคเสรีรวมไทยกล่าว
