Place North West | Consent granted for Rivington Chase affordable homes
Dan Whelan Developer Lane End Group has been given the go-ahead to build 116 homes at the former Horwich Loco Works in Bolton, part of Bluemantle Group’s £262m redevelopment of the site. Councillors voted unanimously in favour of the project, which features a mix of 78 one- and two-bedroom apartments, and 38 two-, three-, and four-bedroom family houses. The homes are to be managed by two social housing providers, Bolton at Home and Irwell Valley Homes, and are scheduled to complete by February 2024.
