Just about a halfhour ago, the mayor told the Union President to come back later this afternoon with representatives from all of the different factions of the union that signed this letter calling for the ouster of San Francisco fire chief joanne hayeswhite. They are planning to come back with the letter at 4 p. M. But the union says its stance remains the same. We are a very proud institution and we want to serve the public to the best of our ability and we feel were not able to do that right now so were trying to regain our footing and make San Francisco proud again.
