giordano in jail. today we re learning about the evidence prosecutors presented. with a shirt pulled over his head and carrying a trash bag of personal items, gary giordano left jail for aruba s prison. the prison is just a few miles from the beach where giordanos is robyn gardner disappeared when they were snorkeling. an you proceed with prosecution without a body in this case? i can only give general answers to that. it s always harder to try a case like this when you don t have a body, but it s not impossible. aruba solicitor general tells nbc news, the evidence includes witness statements and details on how what investigators found at the beach is not consistent with giordano s version of events. his attorney says he s innocent and had nothing to do with gardner s disappearance. after the 16 days, prosecute hes are likely to ask for another 60 days, that s the next step in the process. unless there is more evidence here, gary is likely to be set free. janet s ....
